Versatyle is a Goa (India)-based band playing music from across the world and time, from classy ballroom to nostalgic retro, rendered absolutely live! Six dynamic veteran musicians came together during the rains of 2011, to form a unique musical ensemble with Orlando de Noronha from Trio Orlando on violin, mandolin and vocals; Siddharth Cota also from Trio Orlando on main vocals and Spanish guitar; Kevin Mendes ex-Strangers, Cream, and now Trio Orlando, on keyboards, piano accordion and vocals; Joaquim D’Costa ex-Reunion, Symphony and Ecstasy, on acoustic drums and vocals; Armando D’Cruz of Delhi-fame on bass guitar; and Irene Rocha ex-Cascades on main vocals. Recently, Armando has been replaced by Shelton Afonso on bass guitar and vocals. Shelton has performed with Tomorrow’s People and The Cream, and Shelton Goes Solo. Individually, all the musicians have played in various bands and musical set-ups for all types of shows and in different locations and countries.
