Light Music Orchestra- instantly you will imagine a stage, dominated only by male instrumentalists with few female singers. Being in this industry for more than a decade (since 1989 ), we wanted to engrave an eternal impression about us and therefore one fine day we decided to change the scenario of 50 years of light music industry. We dreamt of a stage, decorated entirely by female instrumentalists so as to make light music not only for ears but also for eyes. This thought gave birth to the concept of THE GIRLS ORCHESTRA. THE LAUNCH The saying `Implementation is more difficult than imagination applied to us when we started the search for talented girls.It took more than one and half years for us to identify and train a group of 20 professional female artists. Finally we had the mega launch of THE GIRLS ORCHESTRA ON 1st July 2000 at kamaraj Memorial Hall, Chennai, inaugurated by South Indian Nightingale Mrs S JANAKI. Since then, we have been one among the top ten TAMIL Cine Light Music Orchestras doing ONLY TAMIL song shows for more than a decade now. We also sing other language songs (very few) during our TAMIL shows ONLY on specific request from the client.
